FRP rebar used for garage boxes

FRP Mesh for a Garage Box Project

For a recent garage box construction project, Fibr Factory supplied FRP reinforcement mesh as an alternative to traditional steel reinforcement.

The FRP mesh was used to reinforce the concrete while offering several practical advantages on site. Because FRP is significantly lighter than steel, the mesh can be handled and positioned more easily, reducing the physical effort required during installation.

Unlike steel reinforcement, FRP is also completely corrosion-resistant. It does not rust when exposed to moisture, salts or aggressive environments, making it particularly suitable for concrete structures where long-term durability is important.

For this project, the FRP mesh manufactured by Fibr Factory provided a lightweight, strong and durable reinforcement solution while simplifying installation on site.

Lightweight. Corrosion-free. Built for concrete.
